This policy describes how MercurioSoft ("we") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Customs Autopilot ("the Service").

We collect information you provide when registering (name, email, company), documents you upload for validation, and Service usage data (pages visited, features used, validation times). We also collect basic technical information such as browser type, IP address, and device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: provide and improve the Service, process document validations, send you reports and notifications, process payments, provide technical support, and communicate important changes. We do not sell your information to third parties or use your documents to train AI models.

3. Storage and Security

Your documents are stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ in transit. Data access is restricted to authorized personnel. We perform regular backups and maintain audit logs.

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with providers necessary to operate the Service: payment processors (Polar), cloud storage (AWS), and AI providers for document analysis (OpenAI/Google). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data. We do not share your documents with other users or third parties.

5. Your Rights

You can: access and download your data from your account settings, request correction of inaccurate data, delete your account and all associated data, cancel marketing communications at any time. To exercise these rights, use the options in your dashboard or email us at privacy@mercuriosoft.com.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for Service operation (authentication and session). We optionally use analytics cookies to understand how the platform is used. You can manage your cookie preferences from your account settings.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your documents and personal data within 30 days. We may retain anonymized data for statistical purposes and billing records for the time required by law.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you by email of significant changes. The last updated date is indicated at the top of this document.
